Students will get experience with professional haircuts, chemical relaxer, press n’ curl, facial, acrylic nails, pedicures & manicures, paraffin wax, wet sets, make-up, up do, twists, locks, weaves, thermal styling hair color, permanent waves and more.
Students learn electronics, engine repair, brakes, air conditioning, steering and suspension, transmissions, and advanced technology and hybrid vehicles. Diagnostics are emphasized taught to ASE/NATEF standards, offering students ASE certification.
Students will gain knowledge and apply it to the following areas: carpentry, electrical, masonry and plumbing. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, career and college readiness, career exploration and construction competencies.
This course will provide students the opportunity to explore athletic training and sports medicine related fields. Students will receive instruction in sports medicine terminology, physical fitness, anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, injury evaluation and prevention procedures, and careers in sports medicine.
Students will learn essential cooking techniques, food safety, quality assurance, nutrition, and production planning. Students will learn management techniques in the areas of inventory and food cost projecting, purchasing, customer service, and marketing. The latest trends in the food service industry will also be explored.
Students interested in a career in the music industry will learn the essential skills needed to attain relevant industry credentials, such as audio engineering certifications. Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world, gaining hands-on experience in recording, mixing, and producing music.
