The History of PAL Charter Academy

PAL Charter Academy is a charter school that services students throughout the Inland Empire.

PAL believes it is important to approach situations with a student-centered attitude and flexibility that promotes student success. PAL students benefit from personalized learning. Our method of instruction is designed to cater to individualized student learning needs and styles. To facilitate learning, our highly motivated teachers provide personalized instruction and extra help to students according to their individual needs.

PAL provides the high-quality instruction every child deserves. Students can successfully work toward graduation while enjoying the benefits of a decent schedule and a distraction-free platform.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Provisional Accelerated Learning Academy is to ensure that all students acquire the academic, vocational, thinking skills, and essential tools to become responsible, contributing members of our multi-ethnic, democratic society.

Our Vision

The school's Vision drives curricular decisions, instructional improvement efforts, and program development. The vision focuses on raising expectations for student learning through the implementation of powerful teaching strategies, as indicated by current educational research. Access to a variety of programs provides all students with ample opportunities to participate in a rigorous, standards-based curriculum.

The Purpose of the PAL Charter Academy is to provide quality education to a widely diverse population using varied strategies of instruction and to develop academic excellence and 21st Century leadership skills for a community of successful learners. This high-quality education will be achieved by students attaining the goals and proficiency as set forth in the California Department of Education Content Standards, the Common Core State Standards, and the PAL Charter Academy Expected School-Wide Learning Results

La visión

La visión de la escuela impulsa las decisiones curriculares, los esfuerzos de mejora de la instrucción y el desarrollo del programa. La visión se enfoca en elevar las expectativas para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes a través de la implementación de poderosas estrategias de enseñanza, como lo indica la investigación educativa actual. El acceso a una variedad de programas brinda a todos los estudiantes amplias oportunidades para participar en un currículo riguroso basado en estándares.

Special Campus Tour

Be sure to schedule a family tour of the PAL Center campus.

Scheduling a Tour of Campus 

Please contact our Campus Tour Department at tours@palcenter.org or (909) 887-7002 to schedule your tour. We appreciate you scheduling your tour at least one week in advance.

Your tour will be conducted by a Tour Leader and will last approximately 20-40 minutes. Typically, tours are given to one family at a time, however during high volume months, 2-3 families may be scheduled for the same tour. Parents and students are both encouraged, but not required, to take the tour. 

We kindly request that you arrive on time and silence your cell phone before your tour begins.  

Tours are held year-round however, we do recommend scheduling tours while school is in session.

Special Campus Tours

Special Campus Tours are offered on all-school Rally days. Your visit to campus will include a tour and the opportunity to attend the Rally with one of our tour leaders. All Special Campus Tours will begin at 10:30 am and conclude at approximately 12:05 pm.

Graduation

Students may elect to pursue an accelerated academic program. Your college plans should be discussed with your counselor as you determine which program you should pursue. In order to plan your yearly classes, you need to become familiar with course prerequisites.  Meet our graduate admissions representative to learn more about our graduate programs and decide what it the best for you.

CTE Program

Campus on a tour designed for prospective graduate and professional students. You will see how our university like, facilities, studenst and life in this university. Meet our graduate admissions representative to learn more about our graduate programs and decide what it the best for you.

Upward Bound

Upward Bound is an academic enrichment program that opens the windows of opportunity to postsecondary education. Upward Bound is a federally funded program that provides its services free to selected students.

The goal of the Upward Bound Program is to academically prepare low-income, first-generation college students to enroll and graduate from the four-year college/ university of their choice.
